Bialetti Moka Express

Bialetti is the name synonymous with stove top espresso makers, and the Moka Express is the original version still made in Italy.  It’s what you’ll find in almost every Italian household, and what they’ve trusted for years!

It delivers quality espresso-style coffee on a budget.  It’s super easy to use, and can be used pretty much anywhere there’s a heat source and good coffee!  Simply fill the bottom with water, fill the basket with ground coffee, screw on the top, and wait for the magic to happen.  For an easy to use guide, check out this video on YouTube by James Hoffman.

Please note, the size is measured per shot of espresso it makes, not cups.  So we’d suggest the 4-cup for just over 1 cup, and the 6-cup for just over 2 cups.

This is the classic aluminium version, keep it clean and it’ll serve you well for years to come.  Please note, it doesn’t work on induction stoves, for that check out the Venus stainless steel version.
